The Holidays

The holiday season is creeping up on us real fast. I can't believe that the stores have both Halloween and Christmas decorations
out at the same time. I am sure next week the trees will go on display as soon as they put away the Halloween costumes and
have room.

I joke about it, but I need to get started. I am having my left hip replacement corrected sometime between Thanksgiving and
Xmas/Hanukkah and need to have my shopping done. That will keep my mind busy with fun things and not stressing on
the surgery. I love this time of year with all the preparations. Not sure if I am haveing Xmas Day dinner at my house or not.
It all depends how fast I bounce back.

I located an old childhood girlfriend who now resides in N.J. and she comes down every Christmas and stays in Boca with her
Mom and we plan on getting together. It has been about 40+ years since we have seen each other.

Looking forward to having the hip fixed and the holidays.

We're Back

What a trip. Brandi was absolutely fantastic. I would not have missed her show for anything. The weather was cold and
rainy, but Matt was an absolute doll and dropped us offand then went to park the car. I felt so bad, as he had to get soaked and
was fighting off a cold himself. Bran and Matt tookus to this fantastic Brazilian Steak House for our anniversary. All I can say
was the the food was out of sight and so was the service. The serrvers come around with different cuts of meat and you get
to samle many types. Oh sooo good!!!!

Unfortunateky, I was unable to go sightseeing. I got off the plane feeling fine and then developed a muscle spasm in my calf.
What a downer. I was so disapppointed but rested thinking it would go away by itself. It is a little better, but has not gone
away completely.

Today Matt is running in the marathon and we are not there to cheer him on. Our good thoughts are there with him and we
wish him well. We love you Matt.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

Today is Eric's and my 29th wedding anniversary. It is hard to believe that we have been together more than we were single.
I love him more today than the day we married. I think love seems to grow deeper with the years. I only hope we can reach
our 50th or golden anniversary together.

I am so happy that we will be able to celebrate our anniversary with Bran and Matt, even if it is a few days later. I miss them
both so much.

Here's to you Eric, the love of my life, and many more happy years together. I look forward to growing old with you.

Great News

I am sooo excited for Bran and Matt. They have just purchased their own home. It is an absoluteky gorgeous, fantastic
2bedroom/2bath condo with a family room on another level. It has a gas burning fireplace, a formal dining room and an
eat in kitchen. They sent us pictures and I love the place. they hope to close the end of November.

I wish them many many happy years in their new home. Hopefully Eric and I will be living up there shortly. Talk about
excitement !!!!!!! I can hardly stand it.

Happpy Birthday to Me

Yesterdat we celebrated my 57th birthday in style. We went out to the Outback and feasted on Lobster Tails. Um Um Good!!!!
Can we say melt in your mouth good. It had been a while since I treated myself, so I figured it's my birthday, why not. Eric
ordered a ice cream sundae and had them bring it out singing Happy Birthday to me. I wanted to dig a hole, but at the same
time enjoyed the moment.

Next week we will be married 29 years, and they said it wouldn't last!!!! What do people know. Not sure what Eric has up his
sleeve for that. A private celebration would be fine with me.

We Made The Start

I guess we are really going to sell. We made up flyers yesterday that look like it came from a sales office
in a development. Eric is soo talented. OMG. On one side he has the floor plan with room sizes, and on
the other several pictures pf the outside, including the pool, tennis courts and game room. He then described the inside and what we have. What a fantastic job. I was about to place an ad in the paper wh
I realized we're not ready to show. we are going away and still have lots of stuff to get
rid of. I guess we will start the clean up process this weekend.

We are excited and very nervous at the same time.

Yucky Sunday

It was a lousy day outside, but inside we had a great day. Eric worked on his book a little. We then made sauce and meatballs
together. I just love to cook with him. It is sooo much fun. We have not done this is awhile. We both enjoyed ourselves that
I guess we will do it more often. As usual he helped with all the clean-up. He is such a treasure. We will be married 29 years
on the 15th of this month. He is a real keeper.
