LIFE STYLE CHANGES!!!

Sometimes we have to make adjustments in our lives that we don' t think will work out well. Our lives are about to change
hopefully for the better.

Eric has finally decided to go back to work after taking time off to write his book. You could say he is bored. He even became
President of our Condo Association. He just loves that. He has taken a teaching position. Yes, he will be teaching A/C and
Major Appliance Repair. The only problem is that it is a really long day. He starts at 7am and the 1st class ends at 1:30. there
is a long time till the class at 5:30 begins. he won't be coming home for dinner since it is a schlep from the school. He will do
lesson plans, grade papers, eat lunch and dinner. He won't be home till around 11pm or so,

At first I was not happy about the hours, but when I talk to him and see how excited he is about this, I guess I willjust have to
tough it up and get usd to it. It was nice having him home so long. When he worked he always came home for dinner, so it
seemed perfectly normal.

I am sure it will all work out for the best.

HOUSE HUNTING

So it continues. Sunday we went back to Broward County (our roots). What a difference
20 years makes. We couldn't find landmarks we remembered, and it just didn't seem
as nice as we remembered. It seemed we went from traffic light to traffic light. Could not find a 55+ community we liked. They were all from the 70's and just didn't appeal.
I guess it would depend on whether they updated the inside or not. Anyway, we nixed
that idea.

I guess we will concentrate on Boca Raton in Palm Beach County. We have a few developments that we will concentrate on until we find the right house or villa. I like the idea I can take my time till I find what I love, since there is nobody pushing or rushing us out of our present home. It is a lovely apartment (Condo), I just don't like
apartment living. I was raised in a house, and also raised Bran in a house. I think a house says "family home".

Boca Homes

We certainly fell in love with the areas we checked out. We found one area called that is divided into different communities.
We stopped and talked to a real nice lady and she was very helpful. We are waiting on a realtor to send us listings.

We saw 2 homes yesterday in Boca Chase. Neither jumped out at me and said BUY ME. The first one I just did not like the
layout of the living room/dining room. I would have to use the breakfast/family room as a formal dining room. Don't know
how that would look or work.

It got better!!!! An adorab;e home, except the odor of smoke as soon as you walked in could haveknocked
you over. It seems an elderly lady just passed away and her kids are selling it. It still had her furniture, all
kitchen utinsils, etc. this one is off my list. Too creepy.

We'll see what else the realtors come up with.

MOVING ON

We finally made a decision. Even though our hearts want to be in Chicago, it just would
not make sense to go from this weather to the horrible winter the Midwest has been having.

It looks like we will look further south then we are in an Boca Raton. This weekend we
will be down there looking just at neighborhoods. Not ready to bother a realtor yet. We
have loose ends to tie up before we move on. I am heartsick at having to stay down here and Bran and Matt in Chicago.

I am not sure how fast our condo will take to sell, but we have a 1st floor apt., and most
in here are upstairs. It just depends what the buyer is looking for or needs.

More on our search after the weekend.
